Witnesses that may be able to assist in the investigation to the murder of Eoin Boylan in Ennis last week have yet to come forward, Gardaí have confirmed.

Eoin was fatally stabbed at Gordon Drive in Cloughleigh on Tuesday last. Nassar Ahmed was charged with the Ennis man’s murder and is to appear before Ennis District Court via video link on Wednesday.

Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance to date into the investigation of Boylan’s death but they are requesting extra information to aid their efforts.

Crime Prevention Officer, Triona Brooks said, “We believe that there were other witnesses who haven’t come forward as yet and we would appeal to these witnesses to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 6848100 or the Garda Confidential Line”.
