GARDAÍ conducted a large operation in Ennis early on Tuesday morning which resulted in no arrests.

A strong Garda presence was visible outside a property on the Mill Rd in Ennis between 06:20 and 07:00 on Tuesday morning.

Up to a dozen Gardaí were on site outside the property where they engaged in deliberations with a property owner before gaining access.

When contacted by The Clare Echo, An Garda Síochána confirmed that a Garda operation was carried out, no arrests were made and no property was seized.

Details of the investigation could not be released “for operational purposes,” the Garda spokesperson stated.
