POST MORTEMS have been completed for Claire and Joe Collins, the married couple found dead in Kilnaboy on Thursday afternoon.

Results of the post-mortems will not be released “for operational reasons”, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed.

No other individual is being looked for by Gardaí at this time, in relation to the incident.

Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The scene in Kilnaboy remains preserved and technical examinations are ongoing. The primary focus for Gardaí at this time is the preparation of a file for the Coroner.

Gardaí in Co. Clare are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have information to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 684 8100 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
