Gardaí are seeking the assistance of the public into an investigation following criminal damage into a house at Miltown Malbay on Christmas Eve.

At five to twelve on Christmas Eve night, four windows were smashed in a house at Carrowkeel in Miltown Malbay. The public’s assistance is being sought by Gardaí in Ennistymon into the incident of criminal damage.

Anyone has any information or anyone that may have seen this damage caused are asked to contact Ennistymon Garda Station on 7071020.

On New Year’s evening at 8:05pm, a man living in the Orchard Lane estate in Hermitage saw bright lights outside his bedroom window, when he looked out he saw two males running from his car which they had set on fire. Gardaí at Ennis Garda Station are asking for the public’s assistance in this investigation – if anyone was in the Hermitage / Orchard Lane area on New Year’s evening between 7.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and saw this incident occurring or saw anything suspicious contact Ennis Garda Station on 6848100.

A burglary occurred at a house Cahersherkin, Ennistymon on Wednesday, 30th December between 4 and 4.30 p.m. Between 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 30th and 9 a.m. on Thursday, 31st January a house in a rural location in Caheramore, Kilshanny was also broken into by forcing the front door, the house was ransacked but nothing stolen.

If anyone has any information or saw anything suspicious in the areas of Cahersherkin or Caheramore on the last Wednesday or Thursday, they are asked to contact Ennistymon Garda Station on 7071020.
