Clare senior footballers will begin life under new senior football manager Mark Fitzgerald when they entertain Cork in the opening game in the 2024 McGrath cup this evening, January 3.

Originally scheduled for Cooraclare, the game will now take place on the impressive new Astro facility at Clarecastle at 7pm, having been moved from the West Clare venue because of the inclement weather conditions of the past week.

Manager Fitzgerald and his backroom team of Seanie Buckley, James Costello, Declan Downes, Eoin Tarrant(S and C) and Barry Ryan (goalkeeping coach), have named the following team for this tie.
