As the traps rose for the I.R.G.T. A6 Stake Final Hazlehill Breeze Run For Mary and Drimeen Jetty were all prominent and as they raced towards the opening bend it was Hazlehill Breeze that led along the inner from Rallying Wild and with trouble behind the front pair kicked clear down the back. Racing past halfway Hazlehill Breeze led by three lengths but now the Stephen Murray of Sixmilebridge trained Run For Mary was beginning to find her stride and exiting the back straight she was taking dead aim at the leader and closing with every stride. Off the home bend Hazlehill Breeze still led by two lengths but the How-Deep-Is-It Syndicate of Sixmilebridge owned Run For Mary (Broadstrand Bono-Risky Reward) swept down the inner to take command close home to score snuggle by a lengths and three parts in 29.80.

Island Ivy and Slipalong Dew were both away well in the A5 graded contest and racing towards the opening bend Island Ivy held a narrow advantage over Ballyea Marshall with Knockdrum Sparky moving through along the inner and giving Ballyea Marshall a nudge that allowed him turn down the back in second place three lengths adrift of the pace setting Island Ivy. Racing down the back the Paddy and John Collins of owned Knockdrum Sparky continued to close on the leader as Ballyea Marshall got back on terms out wide. Taking the third bend, Knockdrum Sparky moved through on the leaders inner and striking the front on the crown of the home bend the son of Orchestrate and Highview Honour eased away to defeat the staying on Paradise Prada by two and a half lengths in 29.40.

In the early strides of the A6 graded 525 yards contest the Frank Casey of Newmarket-on-Fergus owned Pronto Bucks showed good early dash to lead on the run towards the opening bed from Kilbeacanty Lass with Lakeside Teagan, a length off that pair as they negotiated the opening bend. Turning down the back Pronto Bucks moved on by two lengths from Kilabeacanty Lass at as they reached halfway the lead had grown to four lengths as Confused Dexter came through to give chase from the rear. Between the final two bends Confused Dexter briefly looked a threat but Pronto Bucks (Burgess Bucks & Churchtown Minee) edged in again in the straight to score by a length and a half in 29.68.

The S3 graded sixth contest looked an extremely tight contest with the winners of fifty races heading to traps and little separating them on the clock and as the lids rose Light And Leafy was first to emerge and racing towards the opening bend he showed good pace to lead from old rivals Ballyea Jet on his outer ad Nashville along the inner. Approaching the turn Light And Leafy led by a length but as they rounded the bend the Noel Gavin of Ballyea owned Ballyea Jet loomed up on the leaders outside to eyeball his rival. Off the home bend Ballyea Jet (Jaytee Jet & Seekers Vision) struck the front and the Albert Mullins of Gort trained runner settled the contest in a matter of strides as she registered career win number eighteen by four and a half lengths from Colossal Journey in 19.21.
