Missing Clare woman Shauna O’Donnell has been found “alive and well” in Dublin according to her parents.

Gardaí appealed to members of the public on Thursday of this week to come forward with any information on the whereabouts of the Newmarket-on-Fergus woman who had been not been seen since July 13th.

On Friday evening, her parents Ger and Carmel received a phone call from Gardaí in Pearse St, Dublin to inform them their daughter was safe and living in the capital.

Taking to social media, Ger spoke of the “tremendous debt of gratitude” they wished to extend to all individuals who assisted in successfully tracking down Shauna including Gardaí at Pearse St and Kevin St in Dublin, Henry St and Roxborough in Limerick and Ennis Garda Station.

“I feel like we won the lottery. A huge thank you to all here in social media, we cannot thank you enough. We no longer believe there are no real friends on social media, there are for certain”.
