Four Ennis teenagers are in Scotland as part of Ireland’s U19 volleyball squad who will compete in The Flying Scots tournament.

Cillian O’Riordan, Jesus Quaye Saya, Cathal Dwyer and Cian Humphreys will represent their country at St Andrews University. Over the next three days, they will be playing selections from Northern Ireland, England and Scotland in what is the U19s first international tournament.

Prior to the international tournament, the Irish squad completed an intensive four day training camp in Drumshambo where head coach Andrie Molnar put the final preparations and strategies in place.

All four are students at St Flannans College, this week also marked their return to school but staff at the Ennis second level institute are happy to see them get an extended break to embrace the opportunity of lining out for Ireland.
