Ennis Camera Club has made a financial donation to Cahercalla Community Hospital and Hospice Care.

Cahercalla have had to suspend fundraisers on account of the Coronavirus and it has prompted the members of Ennis Camera Club to donate a sum of money in excess of €300.

Fundraising manager at Cahercalla, Mary Maloney has expressed her gratitude to the members for their goodwill.

Kildare based landscape photographer, Bernard Geraghty wavered his fee as guest speaker at the last meeting of the Ennis Camera Club so that a charity of their choice could benefit.

His fee was matched and transferred to Cahercalla this week. In addition to this, additional cash from the proceeds of 2020 calendar sales were also presented.

Over 30 members are part of Ennis Camera Club and they hail from Ennis, Clarecastle, Quin, Shannon, Kilkee, Scariff, Kilmaley and Limerick.
