A first senior semi-final in thirty nine years awaits Kildysart following their dramatic one point win over rivals Lissycasey in the first of the Clare SFC quarter-finals.
It was a game that witnessed a masterclass in shooting from Emmet McMahon who finished with a final tally of 0-14. Six two pointers in the opening half from the right boot of McMahon gave Kildysart a solid ten point lead by half time.
From distances of 45m and 65m from goal, Emmet was in fine shooting form to ensure angles and distance were no obstacle.
With ten shots over the hour, eight efforts sailed between the posts in what was a standout display that earned attention across the country.
