Munster colleges hurling quarter final ties cancelled from last Wednesday due to the inclement weather conditions have been
re-scheduled for Monday. Two of the Dr. Harty cup (senior A hurling) quarter finals involve Clare players while Scariff Commuity college will be in action in a quarter final tie in the B (Corn Thomais Mhic Choilm)
The face Carrick on Suir at Maguires pitch at the university of Limerick where the throw in time is 11.30am. Coach Andrew Fahy will select the team from players drawn from Scariff, Whitegate, Bodyke, Ogonnelloe and Broadford.

In the Harty cup quarer final St. Flannans College, Ennis will face Midleton CBS at Fethard Town park all weather pitch where the throw in time is 12.30p.m.
The management team of Jamesie O’Connor, Tony Kelly and Michael Donnellan are hopeful that the extra few days will benefit team captain James Hegarty (Inagh-Kilnamona) who has been battling to be fit to lead the famed Ennis school Definitely ruled out of the tie are Hegarty’s Inagh-Kilnamona’s team mates Jack Mescall and Gearoid Barry, both of whom are sidelined with long term injuries.
St. Flannans won a quarter final place when topping their group with victory over Tralee CBS having drawn their opening tie in the campaign against Thurles CBS. In a preliminary quarter final
they accounted for Hospital. Midleton last won this title in 2019, a year before St. Flannans won the last of their twenty two titles.
On their way to the quarter final the Cork school came through a group which included last year’s winners Nenagh CBS and De La Salle from Waterford Meanwhile the eagerly awaited quarter final clash of Ard Scoil Ris, Limerick and Thurles CBS is re-scheduled for Monday at
the U.L. North campus grounds with a throw in time of 2.45p.m.
The Limerick school panel includes players from Clonlara,
Cratloe, Sixmilebridge and Newmarket
Ard Scoil topped group 3 winning their three games against
Our Lady’s Templemore, Castletroy College and Colaiste
Choilm from Ballincollig in Cork.
Ardscoil have won this title on five occasions, the first being as
recently as 2010 with further wins in 2011, 2014, 2016 and
2018 with strong Clare involvement in all of those successes
