FOUNDER of property advisory firm, Knight Frank Ireland, Adrian Trueick has been appointed to the board of the Shannon Airport Group.

A chartered surveyor, Adrian was appointed to the board by Minister for Transport, Darragh O’Brien (FF). He is the first new addition to the board since Ray O’Driscoll was named as the new CEO of the Shannon Airport Group.

It is the fourth new appointment to the Board in less than a year following on from Emily Ross and Mary Halton in June 2025 along with Ken Johnson in November.

One of the four founders behind Knight Frank Ireland in 2004 which was then known as HR Meagher O’Reilly, Adrian has thirty five years experience in the Irish commercial property sector. The firm specialises commercial and residential property, including investment, development and transactional advice.

He is now working as a consultant. During his executive career, Adrian headed the firm’s capital markets and property management teams, working with a broad range of international and domestic investors, developers and public sector bodies.

Adrian has advised on large-scale commercial development funding and on the sale and acquisition of major property assets, with a particular focus in recent years on sustainability, including the retrofitting of older buildings.

Truiek is a current member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He was formerly an Associate of the Irish Tax Institute, complementing his extensive commercial and financial expertise within the property sector.

Chair of the Shannon Airport Group, Conal Henry stated, “I am delighted to welcome Adrian Trueick to the Board. Adrian brings with him over three decades of deep expertise in commercial property, investment, and development across the Irish market. His experience advising both public and private sector clients, combined with his strong focus on sustainability and the retrofitting of existing assets, will be of significant value to the Group as we continue to develop our infrastructure and support balanced regional growth. I look forward to working with him during his term on the Board”.
