CLARE HAVE named an unchanged team to face Wexford in the penultimate round of the Allianz National Football League.

Two weeks on from beating Limerick by nine points, Clare’s footballers are back in action and remain in must-win territory if they are to secure promotion to Division 2.

Paul Madden and his management have kept faith with the same fifteen that overcame neighbours for the visit of Wexford to Cusack Park on Sunday (13:00). It is the third game running that the same side will take to the field for Clare.

Hamstring injuries keep Darragh Bohannon and Cillian Rouine sidelined.

As previously reported by The Clare Echo, Seán McAllister and Ciaran McMahon were the standout performers for Clare in a challenge game versus Tipperary last week. This game was primarily for players yet to feature in the league or those not receiving regular minutes. McMahon and McAllister made the right impression to claim spots in the matchday panel with Morgan Garry and Luke Pyne missing out.
