IT SEEMS we may FINALLY be due a break from the horrendous weather we have been experiencing (surviving) for the last few weeks, but that brings its own issues.

The Road Safety Authority is warning Clare motorists to be aware of the potential danger of ‘sun glare’ while driving over the next few days.

The RSA are advising drivers to keep a pair of sunnies handy in the car for such an occasion, plus you will look super cool cruising down the road.

“Ensure your windscreen is clear of grease or grime inside and out, reduce your speed, watch out for vulnerable road users such as pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists and allow extra space.

“Be particularly aware of the dangers of sun glare when travelling east in the mornings and west later in the day,” a spokesperson for the RSA added.

So get out there and enjoy it while it lasts!
