CLARE’s senior footballers have named an unchanged team as they look to pick up their first round of the 2026 National Football League.

Division 3 is proving to be very competitive already so every point will be vital meaning the visit of Westmeath to Ennis on Sunday is a tie where Clare need to be getting a result following last weekend’s five point loss to Down.

Both Down and Wexford have two wins from two outings in Division 3 while Clare are chasing their first win.

Vice captain Mark McInerney who was forced off early in the second half with illness last weekend, has recovered to take his place on the edge of the square.

Captain Cillian Rouine remains out of action alongside Seán McAllister and long-term injuries Emmet McMahon, Colm Walsh O’Loghlen and James Curran.

Morgan Garry has recovered from a quad injury to take his place among the substitutes. Joshua Vaughan and Connor Meaney are also added to the matchday panel with Ennistymon duo Liam Cotter and Ciaran McMahon missing out along with Evan Cahill who was introduced from the bench last weekend.

Lining out for Westmeath will be the Baker brothers, Senan and Tadhg, sons of two-time All-Ireland winner with Clare, Ollie.
