SMALL retailers can now potentially bring in six-figure sums via their websites due to a shift in shopping trends as a direct result of Covid-19. That’s according to a local e-commerce platform provider.

Speaking to The Clare Echo‘s Editor Stuart Holly, Paul Montwill of the Ennis-based company Magico said that his statistics indicate that shoppers are remaining loyal to local retailers while shopping online.

The local online market has grown substantially during the Covid-19 crisis and Mr Montwill claims that some companies have seen up to a 1,500% increase in online sales over the last three months.
