FAMILIES across Clare are being invited to swap expensive days out for giant screen adventures this summer as The Arc Cinema launches its Summer of Family Cinema campaign, with tickets available from just €7.95 per person across a packed programme of family blockbusters.
The initiative sees some of the biggest films of the year arriving on the big screen over the school holidays, including Toy Story 5, Supergirl, Minions & Monsters, Moana, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, Harry Potter and more.
With the cost of family entertainment continuing to rise, The Arc Cinema says the campaign is designed to offer parents an affordable way to create lasting summer memories without breaking the bank.
“Summer holidays can quickly become expensive for families, particularly when you’re trying to keep children entertained for six weeks,” said Juliana Cusack, General Manager of the Parnell Street cinema.
“Our Summer of Family Cinema campaign is all about giving families a great value day out they can enjoy together. Whether it’s introducing a new generation Woody and Buzz or cheering along with the pups of Adventure Bay, there’s something for everyone on the big screen this summer.”
The campaign launches as cinemas continue to enjoy a resurgence in family audiences, with big screen experiences proving increasingly popular as parents look for activities that appeal to children, teenagers and adults alike.
As well as blockbuster entertainment, cinema visits remain one of the few family outings where parents can enjoy a couple of hours in air-conditioned comfort while children become immersed in worlds of superheroes, dinosaurs, talking toys and animated adventures.
Tickets are available now via The Arc Cinema website and at the cinema box office, with families encouraged to book early for the biggest releases of the summer.
