LEADING the way for champions Inagh/Kilnamona to start off a successful defence of the McMahon Cup was Andrea O’Keeffe to pick up the Clare Credit Unions / The Clare Echo player of the week.
A storming display from Andrea saw her score 1-6 from play as Inagh/Kilnamona eased past the challenge of Clooney/Quin in round of the senior championship.
An opening round was forecast for Eugene Foudy’s side but central to their cause was the energy and scores popped off by Andrea who was to the fore in their success last season and is aiming for more of the same in 2026.
