AN “overgrown and littered” area in an Ennis housing estate is to be completed.

Works to the green area of Waterpark Heights in Drumbiggle were requested by Cllr Mark Nestor (FF) at a recent sitting of the Ennis Municipal District. He said the area had become “overgrown and littered”.

Commitments to schedule the work and to ensure it was attended to were issued by senior executive technician, Tommy Scott.

Appreciation to the local authority’s recognition of the need to complete the tidying of the area and continued works were voiced by Cllr Nestor.

His proposal was seconded by Cllr Mary Howard (FG) who stated. “there is great pride by a lot of the residents in this area, this bit of help will really be appreciated”.
