A second Nollaig na mBan all-female panel will gather in Ennis this Sunday.

‘Clare’s Changing Climate and how women hold the key’ is the title of the 2020 event which is once again organised by Rita McInerney, a Fianna Fáil general election candidate. Once again, she has enlisted former Minister and TD, Mary O’Rourke who has strong family connections with Kilfenora to join the panel.

Irish rugby winger Eimear Considine, President of Ennis Chamber Gwen Culligan, mindfulness and fitness coach Deirdre Fitzpatrick, Dr Máire Finn a regular contributor to RTÉ Radio One and Clare FM and Daily Diva Creator Helen Queally-Murphy are on the panel which will be moderated by McInerney.

“At a time of great change and as we enter a new decade, it is important for everyone to see strong female personalities bringing a different approach to the challenges we face in our society, county and communities. This event is being organised to again showcase the power, resilience and talent of the women of Clare,” Rita told The Clare Echo.

Hotel Woodstock once again hosts the event which takes place from 4pm to 7pm on Sunday January 5th.. Tickets cost €30 and can be purchased from the hotel reception or by calling 087 677 4907. “It promises to be another enjoyable, interesting and positive event served with a delicious afternoon tea provided by Hotel Woodstock along with goodie bags and prizes,” McInerney concluded.
