The Wooden Spoon, Killaloe

Think cosy cafe, quirky shabby chic decor and tonnes of weekend reading for you to immerse yourself in over a weekend caffeine hit…you’re on to a winner. The Wooden Spoon is the ultimate foodie spot with the heartiest of ingredients. Expect creativity and delicious signature dishes!

Armada Hotel, Spanish Point

Whether it’s a roaring fire, dimmed lighting and a cosy corner you need or a sea view and some chilled out beach vibes the Armada Hotel has the perfect brunch offering to cure your craving! It’s an easy breezy brunch with the perfect balance of healthy and indulgent options with top class decor and hospitality to boot!

Sweet and Green, Ennis *

Another favourite weekend haunt is situated in the heart of Ennis beside Ennis Yoga Studio so why not kick start your weekend with some positive flow with a session on the mat followed by some delicious healthy delights just next door! My personal favourite is the poached egg, avocado and sourdough delight but the pancakes bring their A Game too!

Doolin Cafe, Doolin

Doolin Cafe is a becoming the ultimate brunch destination for tourists and locals alike. Situated in the traditional music capital of Ireland a spin to Doolin for brunch followed by a brisk walk along the coast or cliffs is sure to blow away any night before cobwebs! Wholesome delicious food and a warm friendly welcome makes this unassuming little spot a deadly hidden gem.

Dodi, Lahinch

Lahinch is still buzzing from the excitement of the Irish Open and has become the perfect weekend drive destination. Dodi is just another reason to head for the coast with its creative brunch offering and sweet treats on the go. With the weather taking a little turn, the menu’s winter warmers teamed with a delicious artisan Roasted Brown have is a real highlight.
