BANNER PADEL has gone pink this Saturday in a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Ireland.
Operating in the Quin Rd Business Park, Ennis since August, Banner Padel hosts its first charity fundraiser this weekend.
From 12pm to 6pm on Saturday, all monies raised Banner Padel through coaching, matchplay and games with local sports stars will all go towards Breast Cancer Ireland. Funds donated in advance are also going to the charity.
An opening showcase match takes place at 12pm, a bake sale will have treats on offer, a raffle has prizes up for grabs, open-court sessions are running with face painting for younger spectators.
Clare footballers Ronan Lanigan and Ikem Ugwueru, Munste rugby player Chisom Ugwueru and Clare U20 All-Ireland champions Marco Cleary, Ronan Kilroy and Robert Loftus will all be taking part in matches.
€700 has been raised even before the activities have commenced.
