CLONLARA’s Joe Mullins will take charge of the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate club camogie championship final this Sunday.

Ballincollig of Cork and Laois’ Camross will battle it out for glory in the intermediate decider which is the curtain raiser to the senior clash between St Finbarr’s of Cork and Athenry from Galway.

Truagh/Clonlara had an involvement on All-Ireland final day twelve months ago when they to lost to Sarsfields of Galway 1-17 0-6. The South East Clare club maintains a link to the All-Ireland camogie finals but this time in the guise of one of its leading referees.

Last year, Joe took charge of his first Clare SHC final when Feakle ran out 1-17 0-13 winners over Sixmilebridge. He has also officiated for the intermediate final in Clare when Broadford defeated St Joseph’s Doora/Barefield in 2019.

On the camogie scene, he took charge of both the All-Ireland junior club and U16B finals in 2024.

Joe first joined the interprovincial panel of referees in 2018, his last game in the Munster MHC was the meeting of Cork and Limerick in April 2023 when the Rebels won 0-20 1-14 to book their spot in the provincial final where they were subsequently beaten by the Brian O’Connell managed Clare minors who went on to win the All-Ireland title.
