In Race six, a S4 graded contest, the ever consistent Burnpark Jaytee recorded his eleventh career win in 19.21 for Kilmihil’s Maria Browne, he is a son of Jaytee Jet and Seekers vision.

In race seven, there was a smart victory for Modig in 29.20 for Cooraclare’s Malin Kelly and trainer Colm Fitzgerald from Tullabrack who was celebrating his twenty first birthday .Modig is a daughter of Burgess Bucks and Crokers wish.

Friday night’s Galway card had the concluding A1 graded finale as the featured contest and as the traps rose for the feature event Lillys Beauty was away quite smartly on the wide outside and racing towards the opening bend he led by a length from Brickhill Fayla and Drombeg Apollo. At the bend Lillys Betty cut towards the rails and turning down the back he led Brickhill Fayla by two lengths with Drombeg Apollo in third place a half length further adrift on the outer. Rounding the bend Brickhill Fayla went to the head of affairs as Drombeg Apollo went with her. Off the home bend, the Cyril Collins and Kate Comerford of Gort owned Brickhill Fayla (Good News and Twentylittletoes) looked set to score but the Evan McAuliffe owned Drombeg Apollo (Grangeview Ten & Grangeview Vicie) got up right on the line to force a dead heat in 29.67.

On last Saturday evening at Limerick Greyhound Stadium, the Gary Pepper of Feakle owned Wizard recorded a fifteenth career success with a 29.21 victory, a son of Magical Bale and Coolavanny Park he is trained by Tipperary native Paraic Campion.

From Thursday’s afternoon meeting the following kept the Clare flag flying, Inislosky Petal notched career win number seven for Mary Crotty from O’Briensbridge, a daughter of Grangeview Ten and Blastoff Rosinio her winning time was 29.10 Bark Wahlberg was to the fore for Sixmilebridge trainer Stephen Murray with a 29.38 victory, a son of Premier Fantasy and Geelo LuLu he is owned by the BLESSMEFATHERFORIHAVE SYND.
