FOUR CHANGES have been made to the Clare senior hurling team for Sunday’s trip to Wexford.

Cian Broderick is set to make his National League debut between the posts for Clare as he replaces Eibhear Quilligan.

With the Fitzgibbon Cup concluded, Brian Lohan and his management are able to welcome back Adam Hogan who was part of the victorious Mary Immaculate College team plus Mark Rodgers and Darragh Lohan from the beaten finalists University of Limerick. Cian Galvin who was part of the UL featured in Clare’s outing and retains his position at wing back.

Hogan is in for Conor Leen at corner back, David McInerney is omitted from the matchday twenty six as John Conlon moves to centre back and Lohan to the wing.

Up front, David Reidy is the one to miss out and he is not included among the substitutes as Mark Rodgers returns to corner forward to form part of an inside line with Aidan McCarthy and Ian Galvin.

Clare’s team has been prone to last minute changes prior to throw-in so the announced team comes with a health warning that further alterations are possible.

Conor Cleary was forced off with injury in Clare’s 0-20 1-16 win over Waterford in round two but is named at full-back where he will be flanked by Hogan and Rory Hayes.

Cathal Malone and Sean Rynne are once again named as the midfield partnership while Robin Mounsey continues at eleven with David Fitzgerald and Patrick Crotty on either side of the Ruan man.

Wexford will be able to call upon Jack O’Connor after his red card in their draw against Offaly in round two was rescinded.
