STUDENTS in Tulla are shaping up as they bring ‘Grease: The Musical’ on stage in East Clare next week.

St Joseph’s Secondary School brings an electrifying production of the timeless classic ‘Grease: The Musical’ to a new audience.

Talents of the students from Tulla are surrounding parishes will be brought to the fore in the school with productions running on Wednesday (December 13th), Thursday (December 14th) and Friday (December 15th).

Doors open at 6:45pm with curtains raised at 7:30pm for each production. Tickets are €15 available from sjt.ie, or from O’Halloran’s Shop & Donlon’s Super Valu in Tulla. Concession prices are available for Wednesday’s performance.

Months of preparation have been exerted into the musical from rigorous rehearsals to intricate set design. The students and staff, under the direction of Sarah Griffin and Helen Ball, have worked tirelessly to deliver a show that is bound to leave the audience tapping their toes and singing along.

“We are beyond excited to bring ‘Grease: The Musical’ to the St Joseph’s stage,” said Juliet Coman, school principal. “The energy, enthusiasm, and talent of our students will, I believe, make this a truly standout performance. It’s a production filled with heart, humour, and the infectious spirit of the 1950s”.

Founded in 1950, there are over 720 students in St Joseph’s Secondary School in Tulla. The school is rooted in the Christian tradition of the Mercy Order and is now under the trusteeship of CEIST (Catholic Education An Irish School’s Trust).
