WEATHER WARNINGS impacted on post-primary GAA competitions involving Clare schools today (Wednesday).

All TUS Munster GAA Post Primary Schools games scheduled to take place on Wednesday October 19th were postponed due to rainfall warnings issued throughout the province.

Games cancelled include Rice Collegeโ€™s U19C round 1 football match against Scoil na Trionoide Doon, St John Bosco Community Collegeโ€™s U16.5 E quarter final meeting with Mount Sion CBS and Ennistymon CBSโ€™ U16.5 D quarter final against St. Marys of Newport.

Other games affected were St. Caimin’s 16.5 C quarter final match up with St. Josephs of Borrisoleigh, Scariff Community College U16.5 B quarter final match up with Coachford College, St. Josephs of Tullaโ€™s U16.5 B quarter final against Gaelcholaiste Mhuire an Mhainitstir Thuaigh was also postponed.

St. Flannanโ€™s first round of the Corn Ui Mhuiri against Tralee CBS is also among the games that have been postponed.

All games scheduled for the 20th and 21st of October are all set to go ahead as planned while the CCC have announced they are working on getting new dates for all games that have been postponed.
