St Flannanโ€™s Cathedral is set to welcome Glasshouse Ensemble to its stunning setting next month.

Fresh from a summer of sold out festival appearances where they delighted audiences with interpretations of Aphex Twin amongst others, Glasshouse Ensemble have announced a very special show at St. Flannans Cathedral Killaloe on Friday October 7th 2022.

Golden Hour will be performed by the award winning classical ensemble along with a mixture of music by crowd favourites including Kate Bush, Bowie, Phoebe Bridgers, Prince, Big Thief, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Olafur Arnalds, Sakamoto, LCD Soundsystem and others.

Glasshouse Producer Michael Stone said they were โ€œexcited to present a selection of favourites, songs that inspire and delight usโ€.

They will be joined on the night by independent singer Sรญomha from Ennis warming the crowd up with her folk, jazz and neo-soul infused sounds.

Poet and visual artist Fergus Costello will open the show with a spoken word piece evoking the lake and surrounds.

Doors will open at 7pm for the concert, tickets are available now from Eventbrite now. This show is presented by CWB, in conjunction with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport & Media and the Clare County Council and Clare Arts Office.
