Parts of Ennis, Barefield and Crusheen are without water with supply affected because of a burst pipe in the area.

Crews from Irish Water are currently working to restore supply and expect to be completed by 6pm on Sunday evening.

Homes affected are on the Gort Rd in Ennis as well as parts of Barefield and Crusheen.

A spokesperson for Irish Water advised, “We apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused and thank them for their patience while our crews work to repair the pipe. Our Customer Care Team is available 24/7 on 1850 278 278 or visit our Supply and Service section for updates and updates will be also be available on Twitter at @IWCare.”

Residents have expressed concern to The Clare Echo with the lack of supply coming during COVID-19 restrictions.
