VMS signs for approaches to Inagh & Miltown Malbay to be reviewed

QUOTATIONS are to be sourced for the potential installation of driver feedback signs on approach roads to Inagh and Miltown Malbay.

Clare County Council were requested by both Cllr Bill Chambers (FF) and Cllr Shane Talty (FF) to install driver feedback signs on the N85 and R460 approaches to Inagh and also along the R474 approach to Miltown Malbay.

Senior executive engineer in the West Clare Municipal District, Enda MacNamara detailed in response, “Quotes will be sought for driver feedback signs at these locations. A suitable funding source will need to be identified to proceed with the installation”.

Support for the proposal was voiced by Cllr Ian Lynch (IND).
