SHANNON AIRPORT’s new weekly serve to Palma Airport in Majorca has taken flight.

TUI’s new route from Shannon Airport to Palma Airport commenced on Tuesday and will operate every Tuesday during the peak summer season until September 16th 2025.

It is a resumption of the TUI service to Majorca which previously ran until 2019. The airline also has existing services to Lanzarote and Costa Dorada from Shannon.

An additional 6,800 seats from Shannon Airport are provided this summer due to the return of the Majorca route. Majorca has long been a summer holiday favourite, as a renowned destination for sunshine, culture, food and music, while it also offers a wide range of family-friendly resorts, picturesque beaches and a vibrant social scene, for people of all ages to enjoy.

Niall Kearns, Airport Director with the Shannon Airport Group stated, “TUI’s decision to resume its Majorca service is really welcome news for Shannon Airport and indeed for this region as it will offer even more sunshine destination options for our passengers. We are delighted to be increasing our range of TUI options from Shannon to three weekly departures to Lanzarote, Majorca and Costa Dorada as well as TUI city breaks to both Paris and New York”.
