OVER 1,500 photographs and stories across three centuries of West Clare are shared in a new book.

Killimer Local History Group will virtually launch ‘Living on the Wild Atlantic Way Through a Lens’ at Knockerra Church on Saturday December 11th. The launch will take place following 6pm mass that evening.

For those unable to physically make the launch, it will also be broadcast via killimerparish.com.

There are over 1,500 photographs and stories in the book which is 667 pages. Stories from across three centuries are told in the publication which is expected to have a wide appeal throughout West Clare and further afield.

Such is the demand for the book that all hardback copies were snapped up within two days, even before the launch. Paperback copies of the book will be on sale for €40 at the launch next weekend.
