Cork have had an edge over us in recent years but on Sunday we turned a corner and put ourselves in a great position to progress from the Munster championship.

While the Munster championship exploded into life last weekend with a great opener in Walsh Park, Clare fans will have earmarked 24th of April as the beginning of the hurling year.
Clare finished their 2022 Allianz National League campaign with defeat to neighbours Galway in a game where there was nothing else up for grabs other than a third-place finish in the standings after both Cork and Wexford had secured the semi-final berths in the previous round of action.
