It was a quite past week-end for Greyhound Racing due to frozen tracks however Friday nights twelve race programme at Galway Greyhound Stadium did manage to go ahead with the A2 graded seventh contest over 525 yards the top graded contest of the night.
Tubber owned Sues Newhall was one of the winning newcomers in Galway at the weekend while Sporting Pat was the highlight of Saturday’s racing in Limerick.
Tulla owned Rockalong Aqua was among the winners at Galway Track on Saturday night while Quilty’s David Hogan produced more winners as did Sean Meade of Miltown Malbay.
Clare greyhounds continued their good run of form with more success recorded in weekend runs in Limerick and Galway.
Clare dogs from Miltown Malbay, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Sixmilebridge, North Clare and Cree managed to hold on for victory in behind closed doors racing at Galway.
