“Major inconvenience” has been caused to households in Gallows Hill in Cratloe “for a long time” as a result of poor drainage, local representatives have claimed.
Residents of Meelick have raised concern over the possible construction of a windfarm stretching from Ballycar to Cappantymore and on to Gallows Hill.
Strong opposition has been voiced by Clare councillors on the possibility of the DAA getting back involved with Shannon Airport.
Strong representations are to be made at senior levels within Clare County Council to plead the case of enhancing the Shannon Recycling Centre.
