Margaret wins ladies competition in East Clare
Margaret MacNamara (26.1) won the ladies 18 hole stableford competition at East Clare last week with 34 points. She won by two from Brid Hayes (18.5).

Patrick Garry and Philip Brigdale were the winners of the men’s fourball in Ennis at the weekend.

Fergal Croke won the men’s fourball competition in Ennis Golf Club over the weekend while Ronan O’Looney won the club singles in Woodstock.
The ladies’ Winter league at Dromoland concluded recently with just a point separating the teams in second and third places.
The captain’s drive-in for 2024 will take place at Woodstock on this Sunday at 2.30 p.m. and will be followed by a 9 hole scramble.
Kevin Toner (10) won the club singles, played over 15 holes, at Woodstock at the weekend with 36 points.

WITH weather conditions improving in the past week, competitions were held at some clubs over the weekend and its expected that more clubs will start their competition schedule this week.
