*Cllr Tommy Guilfoyle (SF) flagged the matter. DISRUPTION caused by the Active Travel scheme on the Tulla Rd in Ennis has left local residents and businesses “very unhappy” according to elected representatives.

*Finnangh Junction. REPORTS of incidents and near misses have been common place for decades at Finnangh Junction linking Ennis to the Quin Rd but an increase in vehicular traffic has also been reported since the opening of the nearby Banner Plaza.
A community fundraiser in memory of Anne Loftus will take place at The Old Ground Hotel, Ennis, on St Stephen’s Night, Friday December 26th, with all proceeds going to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
*Aldi on Francis St was among the stores targeted. A 13-year old Ennis girl has appeared at the Children’s Court concerning a spate of alleged thefts from retail outlets in Ennis.
*A neutral party is to hand over the gifts. A JUDGE has overseen a court agreement where Christmas presents for two children from a father in prison are to be handed over to the children’s mother via a neutral party in time for Christmas Day.
*Pamela Brooks. ENNIS native Pamela Brooks has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Weston Airport.
*St Peter and Paul Cathedral. A 42 year old Ennis man has been jailed for six months arising from an incident where he ‘destroyed the floor’ of a Catholic Cathedral building in Ennis by defecating on it.
A €200,000 upgrade in facilities has been completed at John O’Sullivan Park at Lees Rd in Ennis.
