A new initiative has been launched to promote air services at Shannon Airport and hotel bookings across the Mid-West.

Shannon Group have teamed up with Chambers of Commerce from Ennis, Shannon, Limerick and Galway on the #StayAndWin campaign which is designed to stimulate hotel bookings and highlight the range of air services available from Shannon Airport.

All visitors who stay at a Chamber of Commerce member hotel in Clare, Limerick or Galway during October will be eligible to enter a free competition to win one of four flights for two people to a choice of any of the 18 Shannon Airport destinations this winter, which includes services to six new destinations. Free airport parking is also included in the prize.

Running from 4th October to 1st November, four winners will be selected, one from each Chamber district, Limerick, Shannon, Ennis and Galway.

Support for local hoteliers during the shoulder season is an objective of the promotion while also raising awareness on the eighteen services at Shannon Airport.

Speaking at Monday’s launch Mary Considine, CEO, Shannon Group expressed her hope that it would be the “first of many such collaborations” between the entity and the Chamber partners.

The campaign will use and promote the hashtag #StayAndWin and will be visible via social media platforms. The winners will be announced on the Chambers and Shannon Airport websites on 2nd November.
