JAMIE MOYLAN is to make his starting debut for the Clare senior hurlers with Ian Galvin, David McInerney and Jack O’Neill appearing in the first fifteen for the first time in 2026.
There are a total of six changes for Clare’s team to face Carlow in Dr Cullen Park on Saturday (18:00) from what which defeated Kildare on Saturday.
Moylan an All-Ireland and Munster medallist with the Clare minor hurlers in 2023 is set for his first start at senior level. The Cratloe dual player is named at wing back in what will be his second appearance, having been introduced as a substitute in Clare’s 29 point win over Down.

Alongside him at centre back is David McInerney in what is the first time the Tulla man is included in the starting team. Cathal Malone returns to side at wing back to complete the new-look half-back line with John Conlon and Niall O’Farrell included among the substitutes and Diarmuid Ryan omitted from the panel.

In attack, Ian Galvin and Jack O’Neill make the first fifteen for the first time in 2026. Galvin was introduced as a substitute in the final six minutes of Clare’s four point win over Kildare. O’Neill also impressed against the Lilywhites hitting a point and assisting two more.

Eibhear Quilligan returns between the posts for Éamonn Foudy in what is the sixth change to the Clare team.
Inagh/Kilnamona’s Seán Rynne is included among the substitutes for the first time this year.
