Sean Stack’s owned Loxley continues to set Limerick greyhound stadium alight.

On the Limerick Card on last Thursday night there was a twelve race graded card on offer which resulted in three Clare associated winners. The Clare Abbey Trio Syndicate off Paul Keating, John Keane and Jim McEnery enjoyed a fifth career win with Turn the Page who broke smartly to hold on for victory in 29.54, this son of Droopys Buick and Flandys Hawkeye is trained by Ennistymon’s Tom Flanagan.

Inislosky Jasper representing Mary Crotty from O’Briensbridge finished strongly the claim honours in 29.46 – this was a third win for this son of Droopys Roddick and Cailin Pol. Fergus Lady kept her consistent form intact for Meelick’s Patrick Croinin when she finished well to record 29.14, this was this daughter of Laughil Blake and Ballyelan Comet’s sixth career win.

It was another action packed evening at the same venue on Saturday night last for the second round heats of the Matchbook Betting Exchange Irish St. Leger. Fast Fit Paddy owned by John Quinn of Gort and trained by Declan McDonagh from Liscannor is still in the hunt for further honours after finishing third in his heat, Bling Bling Paul owned and trained by John Meehan from Newmarket-on-Fergus put in another top class performance to fill second spot in his heat.

Loxley owned by Sixmilebridge hurling legend Sean Stack continues to set the Limerick Track alight, Loxley made it win number eleven in the concluding race time here was 28.71 for the 525 yards trip, The first race on the card brought victory to Anne and John Carey from Cooraclare when Gower Dazzler recorded her first career win in 29.82, dazzler is a daughter of Droopys Roddick and Gower Queen.

The John Collins and Albert Long bandwagon continues to roll on as they were back in the winners enclosure after race three at the Galway Track on Saturday night as Brickhill Layla notched up her fourth career success in this A3 graded affair this time, she eased home five and a half lengths clear of Drombeg Glory in 29.30. The winner got the better of the argument with fellow early pacer Springwell Diva at the opening bend and racing down the back she led from Drombeg Glory and Ballyhale Chloe. In command at the head of affairs the daughter of Droopys Syndent and Rathmeeehan May extended her advantage from the crown of the home bend to win going away.

In race five, the Niall O’Riordan owned Non Stop is the most consistent sprinter in her grade and the daughter of Shaneboy Lee & Raficky made it thirteen career wins with an all the way two length success over Room To Stop in 19.39. The Stephen Murray of Sixmilebridge trained lady excels in the red jacketed and breaking smartly she led Room To Stop and Caislean Ruby by almost two lengths approaching the opening bend. Railing well Non Stop led by two lengths off the home bend and she maintained that advantage all the way to the line.
