A CHARITY raffle has been launched by the Shannon Airport which gives two hurling fans to chance to win two tickets for Sunday’s All-Ireland final.

With the search for tickets well and truly underway, the Shannon Airport Group charity committee has launched a raffle for All-Ireland hurling final tickets in support of its charity partners, The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland and Milford Care Centre.

The grand prize includes two tickets to the match in Croke Park on Sunday 21st July, plus an overnight stay in the stylish 4-star Gibson Hotel on Saturday 20th July. A second place prize of a pair of return flights from Shannon Airport to Paris is also up for grabs. R

Raffle tickets can be purchased online from Eventmaster.ie for €10 with all monies raised going directly towards supporting the vital work of Milford Care Centre and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The online raffle will close on Wednesday, 17th July at midnight.

Vanessa McTigue, Chairperson of the Shannon Airport Group Charity Committee commented, “We are thrilled to launch this raffle which offers an incredible prize for hurling fans while also supporting our charity partners, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Milford Care Centre. The All-Ireland Hurling Final is one of the biggest events in the sporting calendar, and with it being the first final clash between Clare and Cork since 2013, we know tickets will be like gold dust, so we’re delighted to give two lucky fans the chance to be there, all while raising vital funds for our incredible charity partners.

“As well as the All-Ireland Final experience, raffle participants will also be in with the chance of winning our fabulous 2nd prize of a pair of return flights to Paris from Shannon Airport. We encourage everyone to enter our charity raffle in aid of two vital organisations who support so many people across our communities,” she added.
