A number of meet the candidate events organised by Clare PPN will be taking place across the county over the coming week.

Candidates have been invited to address the voters of their Municipal District and voters will be given the opportunity to have their questions answered. There will also be an opportunity for individuals to register to vote prior to the commencement of the hustings.

Kilkishen Cultural Centre hosts the first event this evening (Tuesday) where all candidates in the Killaloe Municipal District will have the chance to meet with potential voters.

  • Killaloe Municipal District: 23rd April @ 7pm, Kilkishen Cultural Centre
  • Kilrush Local Electoral Area: 24th April @ 7pm, An Teach Cheoil, Kilrush
  • Shannon Municipal District: 25th April @ 7pm, Shannon Oakwood Hotel
  • Ennis Municipal District: 26th April @ 8pm, Cloughleigh Community Centre
  • Ennistymon Local Electoral Area: 30th April @ 7pm, The Falls Hotel

Clare PPN is a network of community, voluntary, environmental and social inclusion groups from Clare. It exists to facilitate the formal participation by the community sector in Clare County Council’s decision making structures. It is funded jointly by the Department of Rural and Community Development and Clare County Council but is autonomous and its activities are directed by its members through an elected secretariat.
