CLARE’S MINOR hurlers will be heading to Semple Stadium for the Munster hurling final on Tuesday.

A 7:30pm fixture at FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles has been confirmed for the meeting of Clare and Cork in the Munster minor hurling final this Tuesday.

Managed by Brian O’Connell, it will be the second year in a row that the Banner County appear in the provincial decider. They lost out in last year’s final to Tipperary following a penalty shootout.

In their four outings, both Clare and Cork have three wins to their name. Clare lost by four points in the second round to Limerick but atoned for this in the semi-final with a six point win over their neighbours. Cork meanwhile were five points adrift of Clare during their recent clash in Sixmilebridge.

The game will be streamed live on TG4.ie.
