Efforts to see part of the L7048 in Clonlara included in the 2022 roads programme are making progress.
Senior executive engineer in the Shannon Municipal District, Tom Mellett confirmed that the road will be assessed as part of the preparation process for next year’s roads programme.
It follows a request from Cllr Michael Begley (IND) who asked that the section north of Mountcatherine Bridge in Clonlara be included in the programme. His proposal was supported by Cllr John Crowe (FG).
