Fergal Lynch has named his team for Saturday’s crunch All-Ireland MHC quarter-final play off.

Sixmilebridge’s Dylan Downes had been a doubt for the tie but is included in the Banner attack. A hamstring injury has interrupted the preparation of Killian O’Connor from Corofin, he is not named in the Clare lineup.

Sean Ronan who scored an incredible point in their 0-18 2-11 Munster championship win over Cork is handed his first start of the year at corner forward.

O’Moore Park in Portlaoise hosts the game which throws-in at 3pm, Clare require a six point winning margin to progress to the last four, anything else will do for Galway who are managed by Brian Hanley. The Tribesmen have named an unchanged side from that which accounted for Kilkenny 3-16 2-16.
