Surface repairs and verge trimming is to be completed by Clare County Council staff on the L70281 in Sixmilebridge.

Cllr PJ Ryan (IND) requested the works be carried out on the Ballyroe Rd in Sixmilebridge at a recent sitting of the Shannon Municipal District. His motion was seconded by Cllr John Crowe (FG).

Work has already started following his motion, the Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council confirmed.

Tom Mellett, senior executive engineer had committed to arranging any necessary repairs that were required on the road.
