Ennis Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club recently held its 2025 Tennis Club Championship. A huge entry of 153 participants entered the two week event which consisted of singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions.
A number of historic perpetual cups were presented as the competition culminated on Saturday, including the Men’s Singles trophy which Ciarรกn O’Brien won for a 7th time, tying with record holder Larry Power, while Sarah McSwiney took home the top prize in the Ladies equivalent.ย
A spokesperson from Ennis LTBC told The Clare Echo, โA huge thank you to our main championship sponsor Ennis Dental Health Centre for your continued support, and also to Liscannor Flagstone Quarries.
โWe also ran a very successful raffle over the two weeks. Amazing prizes were sponsored by local businesses; Moloney Fuels, Taylors Bar, Dan McInerney & Sons, Patrick Bourke Menswear, TRUTH, The Snackshack, Blackbird, Brogans, TALE Security, Mangans Wholesalers, Youtherapies, Hollyโs Haven Pharmacy, as well as other individual sponsored prizes.โ
