*Dylan McMahon and Clonlara are back in the quarter-finals of the Clare SHC.

ALL quarter-final places have been filled in the TUS Clare senior and intermediate hurling championship following an exciting weekend of third round action.

Caherlohan will be the venue on Monday evening when the exact quarter-final pairings will be made.

Teams that topped each of the four groups cannot be paired against each other while repeat pairings are not allowed.

Éire Óg, Scariff, Feakle and Sixmilebridge are all in one side of the draw having finished top of their respective tables while Clonlara, Inagh/Kilnamona, Cratloe and Crusheen have also advanced to the last eight.

A relegation battle awaits Clooney/Quin, O’Callaghans Mills, Corofin and St Joseph’s Doora/Barefield with two chances remaining for each team to avoid the drop as relegation semi-finals will be held before a relegation final where the loser will drop down to the intermediate grade.

In the intermediate championship, the group winners were Clarecastle, Sixmilebridge, Wolfe Tones and Parteen/Meelick with Ruan, Tubber, Killanena and Whitegate joining them in the last eight.

Clubs which finished third in the intermediate, Smith O’Briens, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Bodyke and Tulla are not done yet. They will be in action again to determine who will be in the premier intermediate championship for 2025 alongside seven of the quarter-finalists and the team which drops down from senior.
