Permission is being sought for increased public lighting along exercise trails in Lisdoonvarna and Ballyvaughan.

Lisdoonvarna Failte Ltd have submitted an application to erect public LED lighting along the existing amenity trails and pedestrian routes at Lisdoonvarna Sport and Amenity Park in Rathbaun, Lisdoonvarna. The application relates to a site of 14.3 ha.

Ballyvaughan Community Development Group are seeking permission to erect public LED lighting along the walking/exercise track surrounding the pitch, including all ancillary site works at Ballyvaughan Community Field, Ballyvaughan. The application relates to a site of 2.69 ha.

A decision due date is set for April 22 for both Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna walking trails.
