THE COUNTDOWN is on for the return of the Clarecastle Regatta.

Last held in 2019 when it celebrated its tenth birthday, the Regatta is noted for bringing a sizeable crowd to the Quay in Clarecastle for a family fun day.

Over three decades ago, the Regatta was a firm fixture in the Clarecastle calendar but was revived in 2009 and has grown year on year.

A wide range of events are planned for Saturday June 25th including live music, market stalls, a dog show, vintage cars, a hanging tough challenge, children’s races, kayaking, amusements, fancy dress parade, challenges in hurling and football plus competitions for best dressed lady and bonny baby.
